Centre of Fishery Monitoring and Communications (CMFC) provides state monitoring of the aquatic biological resources, observation and surveillance of fishery activities.

CFMC was created by order of the Government of the Russian Federation, and is part of the structure of the Federal Agency for Fisheries.

The CFMC head office is located in Moscow and processes, stores and analyses the data received by the Industry Monitoring System (OSM).

CFMC has two regional divisions – Western and Eastern, which ensure the functioning of the Industry Monitoring System in the regions and collect data into the system, keep records of organizations of the fisheries complex and vessels, as well as collect, process and store data on their activities at regional level. CFMC branches are Vladivostok branch and Murmansk branch.

CFMC departments are located in the following cities: Kaliningrad, Novorossiysk, Astrakhan, Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk.
